Campalto 30th/ 31st April
The second competiton of the season also went great, it was held at Campalto, Pisa.
We arrived friday afternoon, along with the rain.
By saturday morning the sun had warmed Team Carapia, this time enriched by the prescence of new member Dagmar Richter, originally from germany, and although living in Italy for some time, only re-entered into the competition scene this year after a break of ten years.
This weekend had victories in both the classes she entered with scores of(63,580%) in th F100 on the saturday and (65,806%) in the F105 on the sunday, with her own horse Warlock.
She was closely followed by the otherwise confirmed excellent Florentine dressage rider, Chiara Biliotti with her horse Dentano, obtained two second places (65,806%) in the F100 on saturday and (64,731%) on the sunday.
Other than this I was left most satisfied with Chiaras debut in class M, infact the pair competed in Junior Team Test and yet agin gained two second places, over the two days with scores of 61,417% and 62.583%.
Dario Cacialli, reconfirmed his usual top level preparation with his horse Rainbow98, with scores of 64,074% in the Young riders Team Test on the saturday and 64,00% on the sunday. Last but not least, the 'Star' of Team Carapia 2007-Charlotte Lidstrom!!
Not even Riccardo, knowing the potential of his ex-horse Escobar11, expected such a wonderful result, and in such a short space of time, the pair showed massive improvement and won the Junior Team test on the saturday with the excellent score of 65,167% and 69,083% on the sunday.
So on that note, 'Hey guys, lets not drop the guard down, lets continue the 2007 season with more fantastic results'
